An energy matter continuum

What if there is an energy mass continuum? What if matter is merely a knot in this energy mass continuum that extends through space? Will this explain away the lensing experiments? If all the quanta indicative experiments are considered through this view then are our own observations so far are merely because we are also part of this energy continuum?
Let us look at the various particulate experiments and see if they can be explained as concentrated energy frozen at a point of time, at speeds that follow Newtonian mechanics.
